TRAINZ STATION BASIC DOWNLOAD
On the far left in the list, the notebook icon means it's locally installed, the black and red "DS" icon means it's on the Download Station, so right click on the one with the DS icon and download that. Right click again, select View Dependencies, that opens another window. If the asset shows up with a yellow puzzle piece icon with a ?, that means it failed to get a dependency or sub-dependency. When you find the asset that looks interesting, select it in the list and click the right mouse button, which opens a popup menu, select Download from that. I would advise clicking the bottom left button to read the manual, but for the basics click the Content button and take a look at Content Manager.įirst thing to look at is the search filter on the left, clicking the + buttons open extra filters so you're not wading through zillions of locos and rolling stock while searching for signals, and you can also type keywords in the top window. Depending on how much patience you have you may want to spend the $30 bucks per year on a first class ticket. First question is "where's all the downloads", since Trainz has an automatic download helper, most of it is on the Auran Download Station. This is a dummies guide for people new to Trainz, whether you're new to Trainz in general or coming over from one of the other trainsims.
